Doncaster residents are being encouraged to complete a survey organised by the local authority in how safe the town is to work and live in.

The Doncaster Safer and Stronger Partnership is reviewing the Community Safety Strategy for 2014 - 2017 and wants residents to give their views on how safe they feel living or working in Doncaster and what you think their priorities should be in the future.

The survey is open until February 14, and can be accessed here

Paper copies of the survey can also be requested by calling 01302 736000 or alternatively collect a copy from the Civic Office One Stop Shop.

Coun Joe Blackham, Cabinet Member for Community Safety and Neighbourhoods said: “The Safer and Stronger Doncaster Partnership, which sees the Council work together with multiple partners, is committed to tackling crime and anti-social behaviour so that Doncaster is a safe place to live, work and visit.”

He continued: “We will use the information gathered from you in this survey to review our priorities and check that the strategy is as up to date as possible.

“We realise that there are many different things which can affect how safe people feel and that these things can also change over time so please take this opportunity to have your say.”

In addition to collating online responses, Council staff will also be consulting with groups and individuals on a face to face basis.
