A Doncaster-based rail firm is helping to deliver the Brazilian World Cup party spirit across the country.
DB Schenker Rail UK is bringing hundreds of container-loads of drink and consumer goods from around the world for England’s World Cup parties.
The company, which is based at Lakeside, is working behind the scenes to ensure millions of football fans continue to enjoy the tournament and is currently transporting container-loads of drinks, including Peroni beer and Blossom Hill wine.
And before the party had even got started, DB Schenker Rail UK had collected a range of consumer goods from UK ports, including furniture, televisions, garden furniture and barbecues, before transporting them via rail throughout the UK in time for the celebrations.
