Multi-millionaire Doncaster pop star Louis Tomlinson surprised diners when he dropped into a hometown branch of KFC for a bite to eat.
The One Direction heart-throb dropped into the Lakeside Village branch of the fried chicken chain earlier this week, with the shopping centre posting a picture of his visit on Twitter.
The 24-year-old, currently on hiatus from the boy band sensations, posed for pictures with staff at the branch, smiling for the camera.
Louis, who was brought up in Bessacarr and whose mum Johannah and family still live in the area, is thought to be home for Christmas and his birthday, which is on Christmas Eve.
The star looked relaxed, dressed in a black and red Adidas sweatshirt for his visit to the store.
The shopping centre tweeted: "We had a very special visitor at Lakeside Village last night, local superstar Louis Tomlinson paid a visit to our KFC store!"
It comes in the week that it was announced that Louis has signed a solo deal.
Music mogul Simon Cowell has confirmed the news and said: "I love Louis, he’s a great guy. He’s part of the family and we’ve become friends."
Louis was one of the creative forces behind One Direction, co-writing a number of the group's hits including Steal My Girl, Perfect and History.
All of the One Direction boys are now striking out on their own; Louis, Niall Horan and Liam Payne have all signed solo deals, while Harry Styles is working on an acting career.
Louis has also become a father in the last 12 months, with bandmate Liam looking set to become the second One Direction member to become a dad after his girlfriend Cheryl was recently pictured showing off a baby bump.
