POLICE are planning an operation to deal with nuisance motorcyclists in a Doncaster town.

The issue has been raised again at a meeting at the Dog Daisy pub, on Derwent Road, Mexborough.

Among those at the meeting was a police community support officer from the Mexborough safer neighbourbood team.

A police spokesman said: “The main issue raised at this meeting was regarding nuisance motorbikes. We are regularly trying to combat this problem and are running another motorbike operation in a couple of weeks time.”

Nuisance bikers in Derwent Road, Derwent Drive and Lingfield Walk are among issues identified as a priority for action by Partners and Communities Together meetings.
