The swimming pool at Doncaster Dome, which is run by Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust, remains closed this week (w/c Dec 3) following a four week closure for routine maintenance.
Michael Hart, Chief Executive of DCLT, said: “We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience the temporary closure of the swimming pool has caused and we are looking forward to inviting people back into the water as soon as possible.
“There has been a delay in re-opening due to the essential maintenance work which has taken place.
“We have a number of other swimming pools throughout Doncaster that are all still open during this time and our regular Dome swimmers will continue to receive a warm welcome at all these venues.
“When the pool is reopened we hope that swimmers will enjoy a more pleasurable experience at the Dome.”
The eight swimming pools at DCLT’s other leisure venues across the borough remain open, including St James Leisure Centre and Armthorpe Leisure Centre.
