Doncaster’s Corn Exchange was transformed into a giant message of support to France over the Paris terror attacks.

The building, next to Doncaster Market, had the image of a French flag projected onto its frontage from 6.30pm until 1am.

It was the latest of a series of gestures from the borough.

The flag at Sir Nigel Gresley Square was flown at half mast during the day, while many residents, including those at the main Civic Buildings at Waterdale, joined in a one minute’s silence.
