Don’t mess with health service

Have your say

RECENTLY I had to dial 999 for an ambulance when my husband was taken ill.

Within minutes, two female paramedics arrived. Minutes later the emergency ambulance came to take us to A&E at the Northern General. On arrival, we were dealt with very efficiently by nurses and doctors. He also had a CT scan and other tests. We were taken by ambulance to the emergency unit at the Hallamshire where he was treated with the same efficiency by doctors and nurses.

A friend who was staying with us at the time and who lives in the Midlands could not believe how quickly things were taken care of.

So I’d like to tell David Cameron: ‘Don’t mess with the NHS. They’re doing a very good job’.
