I AM sick of hearing about ‘neighbours from hell’ who can spend years causing misery, turning houses into pigsties before being evicted, only to be rehoused.
So you can understand my disbelief when I read about a a good neighbour, a disabled pensioner, who is facing eviction from her home of 20 years with no chance of alternative accommodation.
The reason? Her small dog was startled by a council worker and nipped his glove (I kid you not). Sheffield Homes (yet again) are behind this crackpot decision. They’re the ones who regularly rehouse problem families and place noisy teenagers next to 90-year-olds, but surely, in the name of justice, they’re not going to get away with this, their latest fiasco, are they?
