Do something funny for money

SOUTH Yorkshire residents are being urged to ‘do something funny for money’ for this year’s Comic Relief.

The fundraising event takes place on Friday, March 15.

The event, which celebrates its 25th year this year has raised over £600 million for the UK and Africa.

The highlights include appearances from celebrities, comedy skethes and singer Jessie J will have her head shaved live on television.

This year there are three Sainsbury’s Dinosaur Noses to collect, T-Shirts designed by Stella McCartney and charity single from boy band One Direction.

Last year, more than £3.8 million was spent on projects in Yorkshire and the Humber.
