FIREFIGHTERS have spent the night battling a huge blaze at a disused working men’s club in Barnsley.
Around 30 firefighters from across the county were called out to the derelict building on Farm Road, Kendray, after the blaze was discovered at 12.30am today.
The building was engulfed in flames when crews arrived and within 30 minutes half of the building collapsed.
Firefighters left the scene at around 6am.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze is to be launched.
