Dinosaur hunt in city
SHEFFIELD will be transformed into Jurassic Park next week for a kids' dinosaur hunt in the city centre.
Ahead of the arrival of Walking With Dinosaurs at Sheffield Arena in July, the city centre will host a huge prehistoric hunt.
Families can pick up an entry form from the Winter Garden Information Desk or Tourist Information to start their trail, and dinosaurs will be hidden in city centre public spaces and shops.
The hunt will run all week from next Monday May 25 to June 1. The winning entry will get a family VIP ticket and a backstage tour at the Arena show between July 22 and 26, and 10 runners up will each win a pair of tickets.
Coun Sylvia Dunkley, Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Streetscene, said: "There will be 10 dinosaurs hidden - as well as a dinosaur possibly can be - and there are some great prizes on offer."
