Diligent research?

On November 18, a letter regarding the motorway services at junction 35 of the M1 from a local resident.

He mentions Woodall services and Wooley Edge services in his letter, whichare not mentioned in the planning application.

The planning application is about drivers leaving the A1M and driving along the M18 to then go north along the M1, and then leaving the M1 at junction 35a.

He then states that the application has been proven through “extensive, diligent research”. If this was the case why is there no mention of services at Tankersley on the A616?

At these services there is a McDonald’s and a restaurant, neither of which are inundated with transport vehicles.

My own thinking is that St Paul’s Estates have cajoled Motorway Services Extra to apply for this application because it would bring 400 jobs.
