Police are appealing for witnesses following a life-threatening collision in Thurnscoe yesterday (Friday April 17).

At around 3.10pm, it is reported that a white Honda XR125 motorcycle and a silver Ford Focus were in collision in Hanover Street, Thurnscoe, near to the junction with Hanover Square and Grange Street.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 27-year-old man, has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses to the collision should call South Yorkshire Police quoting incident number 588 of 17 April 2015.
