Jog Derbyshire is again teaming up with the National Trust to offer family-friendly trail running events at the Longshaw Estate near Hathersage.
The venue will host accessible trail running events on 12 dates next year, following the huge success and demand in 2014.
Participants can blow away the cobwebs at the first free run on Sunday, January 11 – choosing from a three mile or 1.6 mile route.
The dates for the future running events are February 8, March 15, April 12, May 10, June 7, July 5, August 2, September 13, October 11, November 8 and December 6 and 20.
Ruth Tweedie, sports development officer at the National Trust Longshaw Estate, said: “Longshaw is the most remarkable location with fantastic views over Burbage and Stanage.
“They are nice easy trails with marked routes where people can just enjoy being a part of the countryside and away from cities.
“We’ve got the two distances - 1.6 miles if you’re just starting out, or if you want to come with your family and your children, and then we’ve got the three mile route, for people who are maybe a bit more advanced or want a bit more of a challenge.”
