Small businesses in Derbyshire are being invited to apply for with grants of up to £75,000 to help them grow.
Derbyshire Economic Partnership – backed by Derbyshire County Council – secured £3 million for small businesses from the Government’s Regional Growth Fund.
The grants are aimed at boosting the economy and generating jobs.
Councillor Joan Dixon, Derbyshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Jobs, Economy and Transport, said: “In challenging economic times, we understand small business may think twice about committing the necessary investment to grow. The match funding available through this project might just give them the helping hand required to take the next step towards job creation.”
