REPAIRS will be carried out on the B6067 Brinsworth Road Bridge, which carries the M1 between junction 33 and 34 near Rotherham, next week.
Work will take place to replace the bridge deck expansion joints and resurface the bridge.
There will be overnight lane closures on the M1 from February 25 to March 15, between 8pm and 6am Mondays to Fridays.
Highways Agency project manager, Tim Calvert, said: “We are carrying out these essential bridge repairs on the M1 at night to minimise any disruption to the travelling public. During the work we advise road users to plan their journeys to avoid delays.”
