MOTORISTS using Sheffield Parkway are warned of disruption due to maintenance work tomorrow.
Between 6am and noon, the city-bound slow lane will be shut meaning the entry slip roads from Mosborough Parkway and Handsworth Road junction will be closed. Exit slip roads at the two junctions will be restricted.
From noon to 6pm, work will swap to the fast lane on the city-bound carriageway, meaning restrictions will be removed from junctions but traffic is likely to be slow.
Further work is planned on the road over the next two weekends.
Meanwhile, ongoing works mean temporary signals or stop-go boards today and tomorrow on Middlewood Road, Hillsborough; Penyghent Close, Blackburn Crescent, Blackburn Croft, Blackburn Drive, Ingleborough Croft, Whernside Avenue, and Sherburn Gate, all in Chapeltown.
Leadmill Road, in the city centre, is closed until Monday, and Moonshine Lane, Southey, has stop-go boards until Tuesday.
Overnight tonight into tomorrow Spital Hill, Burngreave, will be one way out of the city for resurfacing.
Also today and tomorrow, Psalter Lane, Nether Edge, will have stop-go boards, and Bawtry Road, Tinsley, will be closed.
Tomorrow, there will be temporary signals or stop-go boards on Brightside Lane, outside Forgemasters; Burncross Road, Chapeltown; Church Street, Ecclesfield; Clarkehouse Road, Broomhill; Handsworth Road, Handsworth; High Street, Beighton; High Street, Mosborough; Lindsay Avenue, Parson Cross; Woodhouse Road, Intake; Staniforth Road, Darnall; Station Road, Darnall; Station Road, Mosborough; Station Road, Chapeltown; Main Road, Darnall.
