A DEBATE on how to get more people interested in democracy is being held in Sheffield.
The ‘Past, Present and Future’ discussion takes place tomorrow between 5pm and 7pm at Sheffield Town Hall, organised by Sheffield 50+ and Sheffield Futures groups.
A spokesman for the two groups said: “The meeting is being held for young and senior citizens to discuss the problems, and solutions, they experience in getting their points across to decision makers.”
The debate will be co-chaired by Helen Jackson, former MP for Sheffield Hillsborough, and Tom Newman, Sheffield South West youth councillor.
Anyone interested is invited to attend on the day.
