SHE has wings of speed...

Speedy Sheffield air cadet Daniella Bosworth, of 366 Squadron, Greenhill, has won a medal for cross country running.

Having come first among girls from other Air Training Corps squadrons in the area, she won bronze in the regional competition for a second year running and will now compete in a race against the best air cadets from around the country.

Mike Hiley, 366 Squadron training officer, said: “Once again, she is off to represent North Region Air Training Corps at RAF Cranwell later this year and we wish her all the best.

“Elsewhere on the squadron, it has been business as usual with another busy start to the year. We have had cadets flying in tutor aircraft from RAF Church Fenton and gliding at RAF Syerston.

n The cadets – open to girls and boys aged 13 to 18 – are recruiting. For details, call 0114 2373344.
