Dangerous path

Have your say

peter Price is full of praise for the Firth Park roundabout and I admit that it does look lovely, as does the park itself. But I wonder if he ever sees the state of the pavements outside the shops in Sicey Avenue and Bellhouse Road.

They are a disgrace, full of potholes. So many older and disabled people shop there and it is dangerous. Also cars park where they like.

Put pride in city

put some pride into your city. You’re miles behind Leeds. I’m from South Yorkshire but I’m ashamed of Sheffield.

Part-time jobs

Here we go again, promises promises by Sheffield council boss John Mothersole, telling me and you that thousands of jobs are set to be created over the next four years. He forgot to mention that most would be part-time and on the minimum wage, not like himself and his comrades on fat cat salaries, you guessed it, paid for by me and you.

Homes rules

I SHARE M Robert’s view on social housing allocations and am also concerned over people having two dwellings, private and council. Sheffield Homes’ policy states that when people who own properties are allocated a council home they need to have taken all reasonable steps to sell their property in six months.
