Pouring rain failed to dampen the spirits of crowds who turned out for Sheffield’s first Pinknic event.

Acts including the South Yorkshire Police Brass Band, The Bedford Incident, Bisque, Jack Walton, Sour Cherry, Stepping Out dance group and Easy Dance were lined up for the festival in Weston Park on Sunday.

It was organised by Lesbian, Gay Bisexual and Transgender Sheffield and included an assault course, arts and crafts.
