POLICE custody provision in Nottinghamshire has been branded ‘poor’ in a report by the Inspector of Constabulary.
The report is based on findings of unannounced inspections carried out as part of a national programme looking at custody suites across the country.
Cells in Worksop were among those visited.
The report, said: “Overall, police custody in Nottinghamshire was poor.
“We gave the force immediate feedback after our inspection and we are pleased to note they responded quickly and effectively to our concerns.”
