Demand for curling lessons at iceSheffield has made bosses launch a new programme so people can learn the sport.
The facility had over 100 enquiries during the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, from people wanting to learn the sport.
Now a six-week programme, as well as drop in sessions for residents to give the sport a go, are on offer.
The centre on Coleridge Road in Attercliffe is the only ice rink in the north of England to offer curling.
General manager Mandy Parker said: “Since the start of Sochi, we have been inundated with people keen to try out the sport.
“The best thing about curling is that it’s a sport for all ages.
“In the last few weeks we’ve been packed with schools, corporate groups and members of the public who have been hooked and inspired by the success of Team GB.
“We’ve already spotted some great young talent in action at iceSheffield and it would be fantastic if, in the future, we could see a home grown talent representing the city in the Team GB curling squad.”
