Doncaster Council is reminding residents of key dates in the first ever South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner elections with the vote taking place on Thursday, November 15.
All eligible voters will have received, or will be receiving shortly, a polling card which will include the address of their polling station.
The deadline for residents who wish to register to vote and those who wish to vote by post is 5pm on Wednesday, October 31.
Residents who are unable to go to a polling station on election day are also able to register to vote by proxy where someone can vote on their behalf. The deadline for proxy applications is 5pm on Wednesday, November 7.
Polling stations across Doncaster will open at 7am on November 15 and close at 10pm.
