FIFTEEN motorists are to receive warning letters about driving too fast after volunteers in Hathersage, Curbar and Bradwell carried out a speed check exercise.
The checks were carried out in 30mph zones as part of Derbyshire Police’s community speed watch scheme.
On Sheffield Road, Hathersage, 13 motorists were caught breaking the limit during an hour-long check on Monday, March 5.
Two drivers were also caught speeding during a check on Church Street, Bradwell.
PCSO Anthony Boswell said: “It is all about encouraging motorists to drive safely.”
