Detectives investigating a fatal shooting in Sheffield have made two more arrests today.

Jordan Thomas, aged 22, from Firshill, was gunned down in a car at the junction of Derek Dooley Way and the Sheffield Parkway, on December 22 last year.

He was the passenger in a silver Ford Mondeo, when the car was shot at while stationary at a set of traffic lights.

The driver of the vehicle was also shot but survived the gun attack.

Thomas was rushed to hospital but could not be revived.

Asif Yousaf, who turns 33 this month, of Violet Bank Road, Nether Edge, is accused of murder and remanded in custody pending his trial.

This morning South Yorkshire Police made two more arrests over the killing.

Two men, aged 26 and 29, from Broomhall, are being held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
