Police are urging motorists to step up their security after cars were broken into at beauty spot car parks in Derbyshire.
One vehicle - a Vauxhall Astra – was parked close to Stanage Edge when it was broken into on Saturday, November 16.
Items including clothing, money and a Kindle were stolen.
Two days later a Skoda was broken into on Hooks car park, Hathersage.
PCSO Anthony Boswell, from the Hathersage Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “Thieves will try their luck if they think there is a chance valuables will be left inside and our advice is to take your items with you when you can.
“Don’t give criminals an early Christmas present. Always remove any valuables from your vehicles.”
