A pensioner had his bank card stolen by a thief while shopping in Chesterfield.

The 79-year-old told police he was using a cash machine at Morrisons on Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield, when he noticed a man nearby.

As the OAP went inside the supermarket he was followed by the man from outside and said two women then distracted him while the thief struck.

He took the pensioner’s cash card from his coat pocket.

Police want to trace all three believed to have been involved, who are described as having tanned skin and are believed to have spoken with an Eastern European accent.
