Teenage boy stabbed in Sheffield park

A teenage boy was stabbed in his back in an attack in a Sheffield park.

The 15-year-old was walking through Osgathorpe Park, Pitsmoor, when he was attacked by a group of two men and a woman

South Yorkshire Police said the teenager suffered two stab wounds to his back.

One attacker was a stocky, white man, one was a slim, black man and the other was a woman with a Jamaican accent.

All three are thought to have been aged between 18 and 21 years old.

They are believed to have had a brown dog with them.

The victim was taken to hospital but has since been discharged and is now recovering at home.

He was attacked at around 5pm on Tuesday, May 30, but details have only been released today.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "Detectives are investigating after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in a park in the Pitsmoor area of Sheffield.

"The boy, who suffered two stab wounds to his back, is said to have been walking through Osgathorpe Park at about 5pm on Tuesday, May 30, when he was attacked by a group of three people.

"Did you see what happened? If you know who is responsible or have any information that could assist with enquiries, please call."
