a TEENAGE boy has appeared in court charged with attempted murder following a shooting in Sheffield.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested over the weekend in connection with a gun attack in Wybourn in which a 15-year-old was shot.
He has also been charged with possession of a shotgun with intent to endanger life over the incident on Sunday, February 19.
Police have also charged him with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The teenager was remanded in custody by magistrates at Sheffield Youth Court when he appeared on Monday.
He is next due to appear at court on Friday.
