The funeral of a Sheffield University graduate who was killed while on holiday in Florida has taken place.
James Kouzaris, aged 24, from Northampton, was shot dead together with his friend James Cooper, 25, of Warwick, in the Newtown area of Sarasota in April.
More than 400 friends and family paid their respects to Mr Kouzaris at St Peter and Paul’s Church in Moulton.
A 16-year-old boy, Shawn Tyson, has been charged with two counts of first degree murder.
Mr Kouzaris and Mr Cooper, who met at Sheffield University, had been holidaying with Mr Cooper’s parents 12 miles away on the island city of Longboat Key.
Tyson has been charged as an adult on two counts of first degree murder. The trial is expected within the next 18 months.
