A South Yorkshire charity treasurer has been jailed after stealing more than £40,000 from the organisation he volunteered for.

The identity of the criminal and the full story of his two-year deception, which involved forging the signatures of other charity volunteers to pay cheques into his own bank account, will be revealed in tomorrow’s Star and online.
