Six arrests have now been made by police officers investigating an arson attack at the Sheffield Ski Village.

Four 15-year-old boys, one aged 17 and a man aged 18 have been quizzed over the blaze, which broke out on Wednesday, April 24.

The Ski Village at Parkwood Springs has been plagued by arson attacks, vandalism and thefts since a huge blaze ripped through the complex 12 months ago - destroying most of the facilities.

That initial blaze was logged as accidental but since then a number of arson attacks have been committed.

The Ski Village was built in 1988 at a cost of £2.5 million and was the largest artificial ski resort in Europe.

Anyone with information about the latest fire should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
