A MAN shot on the street in a Sheffield suburb has been released from hospital.
The 22-year-old suffered hand and arm injuries in the gun attack on Burngreave Road, Burngreave, on Wednesday last week.
Police were alerted to the shooting when he turned up at hospital with gunshot wounds.
Officers sealed off a huge area of the city suburb while officers carried out door-to-door enquiries.
Forensics experts also examined the area where the man was shot.
A 23-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has been released on bail by police pending further enquiries.
