Sheffield man stabbed in attack discharged from hospital

A man stabbed in an attack in Sheffield has been discharged from hospital.

The 34-year-old was found with a stab wound to his chest and cuts to his face after emergency services were called to Horninglow Road, Firth Park, just before 5.15pm on Monday.

He was rushed to hospital by ambulance but has now been declared fit to return home.

Police investigating the incident believe the man was injured inside a house before the disturbance spilled outside onto the street.

Officers sealed off the street and examined the scene but no arrests have yet been made.
