Detectives investigating the murder of a Sheffield man are still hunting his killer - five months on.
Simon Holdsworth, aged 36, was battered to death as he walked home from work on Monday, December 16.
His body was discovered in a field off Birley Spa Lane, Hackenthorpe, Sheffield, the following morning.
A 45-year-old Sheffield man was arrested on suspicion of murder in January but so far nobody has been charged.
Simon, a paint sprayer, had just finished work at FBS Prestige in Intake and was attacked as he was walking the final part of his journey home after catching a bus to Hackenthorpe.
A post mortem examination revealed he died from head injuries.
Simon, a Sheffield Wednesday supporter, lived with his fiancée Carleen McKeown and her four-year-old son Tiarnan in Westfield Avenue, Hackenthorpe.
The couple were due to get married next year.
Police retrieved CCTV footage of a car which pulled up near to the field where Simon was killed moments before he arrived.
Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
