A drug dealer has been jailed for seven-and-a-half years after police found cocaine and heroin worth £400,000 in his house.
Shane McKay, aged 34, of Woodland Drive, North Anston, admitting possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply and possessing Class B drugs.
Sergeant Denis Plaistow, of South Yorkshire Police, said: “We are pleased with the sentence handed to McKay, ensuring he remains off the streets of Rotherham for a considerable period of time.
“We are carrying out extensive work across the borough to tackle those who choose to deal drugs and bring them to justice.
“Drugs destroy communities and the associated criminality is a blight on our town and the lives of our residents.
“Our work will continue to get those dealing drugs put behind bars to make our town safer.”
