Robber threatened Sheffield postal worker with knife

A police probe is under way into an armed robbery at a post office in Sheffield.

During the raid at Heeley Green Post Office, Gleadless Road, Heeley Green, a member of staff was threatened with a knife.

The robber struck at 2.45pm on Friday, November 1 and escaped with cash.

He was wearing a green motorcycle helmet and green motorcycle clothing.

Anyone with any information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 746 of November 1.
