Reward in hunt for Sheffield arsonists

A REWARD of up to £1,000 has been offered in the hunt for car arsonists in Worksop.

The cash is for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a spate of car fires in the town centre and Manton.

There have been 39 blazes since the beginning of the year, with most of the vehicles parked on driveways when they went up in flames.

Four suspects have been arrested and bailed over the fires,but police want more information about those involved.

Detective Chief Inspector Melanie Bowden said: “There are people out there who know who the culprits are and we are appealing to anyone with any information to contact us.”
