Police are hunting a man who raped a woman in the back of a car in Sheffield.
Detectives were called in to investigate after an 18-year-old woman was attacked in the Infirmary Road area of Fox Hill in the early hours of Sunday, October 26.
They said the woman became embroiled in a struggle with her attacker on the street as she tried to escape.
She ran off to a nearby house, where she raised the alarm.
A E-fit of the man has been circulated by the police in a bid to trace the rapist.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “At around 3am on Sunday, October 26, an 18-year-old woman is alleged to have been raped in a red car in the Infirmary Road area, near to Fox Road.
“Following the assault, there was a struggle between the victim and alleged offender on the street.
“The victim managed to get away and went to a nearby house and the occupants contacted police.”
The man police want to trace is 5ft 9ins to 5ft 10ins tall, in his late 20s to early 30s and was wearing a navy blue hooded jacket and a cap.
