A South Yorkshire radio presenter has been charged with murder.
Geoffrey Hemming, aged 52, who worked as a freelance presenter on Sheffield-based Magic AM until May, is accused of killing his partner, Denise Williamson, 44.
Hemming, of Hazelwood Drive, Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, was arrested after his partner was found injured at the same address on Friday, July 5.
She was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
She had been stabbed.
Magic AM and Hallam FM Deputy Programme Director James Lett said: “We are aware of the charge against Geoffrey Hemming, who worked as a freelancer for Magic AM until May of this year.
“We will give the police any assistance we can, should we be asked.”
