PARENTS on the estate today said they were concerned by the young girl’s claims.

Mum Jamilee Manion, 24, (left) of Northern Avenue, said: “You just don’t think these kinds of things happen on your doorstep. It’s worrying with it being the Easter holidays.”

Teri Wilson, 20, of Berners Road, who is mum to ten-month-old Mylie, said: “I’ve heard lots of rumours about it. It worries me that this sort of thing can happen.”

Michelle Johnson, 43, of Norfolk Park, whose children are 18, 15 and 10, said: “I don’t let my kids out. I go with them everywhere.”
