Police are hosting events to help residents protect themselves from cyber crime.
Officers in North Derbyshire plan to visit schools and host special surgeries as part of the national Get Safe Online week from Monday.
They will be speaking to people and handing out information on how to reduce the risk of online fraud, harassment and child exploitation.
Some of the topics officers will cover include advice on how to stay safe when emailing, using social networking sites, internet shopping, gaming and downloading, and what victims of cyber crime should do.
Call Derbyshire Police on 101 for more details.
