POLICE in Sheffield have served six children with Acceptable Behaviour Contracts and delivered 36 Parent Advisory Letters in the city since the beginning of the New Year.
They were issued in Southey in response to complaints from the community about youths misbehaving on the streets.
A Curfew and Disposal Order operates across Southey, Longley and Parson Cross, aimed at reducing the number of youngsters who congregate on the streets and cause anti-social behaviour.
On Friday, officers staged a ‘day of action’ enforcing the order, concentrating on groups congregating near Asda and the Library Learning Zone.
