Detectives investigating the suspected murder of a woman with links to Sheffield have found a body.

Sameena Imam, aged 34, of Cardiff, was reported missing on Christmas Eve.

She was last been seen outside Costco in Coventry - the firm she worked for.

When Ms Imam disappeared police said she had links to Sheffield.

A body was found on an allotment plot in Leicester yesterday.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said the body is yet to be formally identified but Ms Imam’s family has been informed.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place today.

Two Leicester men, aged 40 and 38, have been charged with murder.

They have been remanded in custody pending a trial in June.
