Police have renewed an appeal for help to find a missing man who disappeared two years ago this week.
Tim Beardsley, aged 46, was last seen by his wife leaving his home in Old Tupton, Chesterfield, on July 9, 2012.
He has not been seen or heard from since.
Mr Beardsley’s green Ford Focus estate was found abandoned near Ullswater in the Lake District five days later.
PC Richard Hill, who is leading the investigation, said: “Since Mr Beardsley’s disappearance – which was completely out of character – we have had several possible sightings in both the UK and abroad.
“Most recently, a sighting was reported near Malaga airport, while we have also had calls about sightings in the Birmingham area.”
Call Derbyshire Police on 101.
