Police probe into spate of burglaries across Sheffield

Police in Sheffield are investigating a spate of burglaries.

Property was stolen from a house on Gaunt Place, Gleadless Valley, after a window was smashed to gain entry.

A window was also smashed to get into a house on Hollythorpe Road, Norton Lees, and a burglar got into another house on St Quentin Mount, Bradway, by sneaking through a landing window.

In another burglary on Lupton Road, Lowedges, a television and computer were stolen.

Officers are also investigating the theft of a bag from Edmund Road, Highfield, and a shed burglary on Westwick Road, Greenhill.

There was an attempted burglary on Spring Close View, Gleadless Valley, reported at 6am on Thursday.
