Police patrols in Fir Vale and Page Hall have resulted in advisory letters being handed out to residents.
Extra officers have been drafted in following complaints from residents about large intimidating groups hanging around on streets corners at all times of the day and night.
One of the warning letters was issued to a man on Wensley Street, Page Hall, after he becoming abusive to officers when her was asked to turn down the music in his car.
Inspector Simon Leake said: “Local policing team officers have been carrying out patrols. Carrying out a review of previous anti-social behaviour incidents has resulted in advisory letters being generated for various addresses in relation to noise nuisance.”
