British Transport Police officers are investigating the theft of a bike from a Doncaster railway station.
BTP have today (September 1) released this CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the theft, which is believed to have taken place at Doncaster train station at around 7.20pm on Friday, July 31.

Investigating officer PC Fran Hewlett said of the incident: “A man approached the cycle racks situated in the middle of the car park at the station.

“Using a pair of orange pliers he then broke off a plastic wire lock that was securing one of the bikes before leaving the station with the bike.”

Officers believe the man in the image could have vital information about the incident and urge him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward to assist police with their enquiries.
