Police have released an E-fit of a man wanted over an attack on a university student in Sheffield.

Officers were called in to investigate after a 23-year-old woman was grabbed by a stranger as she walked along Roslin Road, Crookes, on Friday.

She was followed and then grabbed around the waist.

Police said she shouted and managed to struggle free.

The man police are hunting was white, aged in his 20s and had a round face. He was slim build and of average height.

His victim said he was wearing a black or dark hooded top that was tied tightly around his face, with dark trousers or jeans.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “The woman became aware of an unknown man following her.

“After making efforts to walk away from the man, it is reported that the man grabbed the woman around the waist.

“The woman shouted and struggled, causing the man to run away.”
